Beam with Perfection with This DIY Facial Highlighter

Like icing on a cake, no makeup job is complete without being topped off with some facial highlighter.

This product not only helps to contour your face to perfection, but also lends that enviable dewy look that causes skin to look younger and healthier.

There are a slew of quality illuminators on the market such as Luminous Cheek and Face Highlighter from Victoria’s Secret, $14 and Lancome’s Eclat Miracle, $37. However, being the DIY-ers that we are, we scoured our vanities first to see if we had any cosmetic ingredients on hand capable of creating such a formula – and WE DID (surprise, surprise)!

The process of creating your very own facial highlighter at home is easy and oh, so simple! Here’s how…

What you’ll need:
- Liquid foundation (the one you use on a daily basis).
- Loose, shimmering eye shadow powder infused with gold flecks (Use one that has a little warmth to it).

*Don't use too much shadow, otherwise you'll look like a human disco ball. You’ll only need the amount equivalent to the size of a pea or your pinky nail.

How to:
- Scrape the loose eye shadow into the foundation.
- Once mixed well together, blot on the high points of your face for a gorgeous contoured look!
